 1. Personal Information We Collect and Hold

Information you provide to us. The personal information you may provide to us through the Service or otherwise may include:

Contact information such as your first and last name, greeting, email address, billing and mailing addresses, and phone number.

Demographic information, such as your city, state/county, country of residence, zip code, gender, and age.

Profile data, such as usernames and passwords you set to create an online account on the Service, date of birth, redemption code, biographical data, photo, links to your social media profiles, interests, preferences, information related to your participation in our contests, promotions, or surveys,  and any other information you add to your account profile.

Communications The information we exchange with you, including when you contact us through the Service, social media, or otherwise.

Transactional data, such as information related to the processing of your orders on or through the Service, including order numbers and transaction history.

Marketing data, such as your preferences in receiving our marketing communications and details of your engagement with them.

User-generated content, such as profile pictures, photos, images, videos, audio recordings, comments, questions, messages, and other content or information that you generate, transmit, or make available on the Service, as well as associated metadata. Metadata includes information about how, when, where, and by whom a piece of content was collected and how that content was formatted or modified. Metadata also includes information that users can add or have added to their content, such as keywords, geographic or location information, and other similar data.

Government-issued identification numbers, such as national identification number (e.g., social security number, tax identification number or file number, passport number), central or local identification number (e.g., driver's license number or national ID card number), and an image of the corresponding ID.

Payment information necessary to complete transactions, including your payment card information or bank account number.

Professional information, including information you share when you enter a contest, promotion, or survey Please note that if you enter a sweepstakes, contest, or giveaway through the Service, we may ask for your contact information to inform you whether or not you have won, to verify your identity, and/or to send you prizes. In some situations, we may need additional information as part of the registration process, for example for the selection of a prize. Participation in these lotteries and competitions is voluntary. We recommend that you review the relevant rules and information regarding each sweepstakes or contest you enter.

Other data not specifically listed here, which we will use in accordance with this Privacy & Cookie Policy, or as otherwise disclosed at the time of collection.

Third-party sources. We may collect the types of personal information set out above from the following third parties and combine this information with the personal information we receive from you:

Sellers, including companies and individuals who sell products on JEEMA.

Public sources. You can also consult information sources such as government agencies, public records, social media platforms, and other publicly available sources.

Data providers. This data may be provided by third parties, such as information services and data licensors who provide demographic and other information, as well as risk assessment agencies, which help us detect fraud and offer certain credit-based services. This data may include information about your credit history.

Our affiliate partners, such as our affiliate network provider and publishers, influencers, and promoters who participate in our paid affiliate programs.

Marketing partners, such as joint marketing partners and event co-sponsors.

Third-party services, such as

  • Social media services that you use to associate with your account within the Service or to link to your account within the Service. This data may include your username, profile picture, and other information associated with your account on that third-party service that is made available to us based on your account settings on that service. The exact nature of the information we receive depends on your privacy settings on the relevant platform.

  • Logistics service providers, who help us calibrate our fulfillment services. This data may include your shipping address.

Automatic data collection. We, our service providers, and our business partners may automatically record information about you, your computer or mobile device, and your interaction over time with the Service, our communications, and other online services, such as those described above:

  • Device Data, The information you provide to us is personal data, such as the type and version of your computer or mobile device's operating system, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, RAM and disk size, CPU usage, device type (e.g.,  , phone, tablet), IP address, unique identifiers (including identifiers used for advertising purposes), language settings, mobile device operator, radio/network information (e.g., Wi-Fi, LTE, 3G), and general location information such as city, state, or geographic area. We also collect service, diagnostic, and performance information, including malfunction reports and performance logs.

  • Online activity data, such as the pages or screens you viewed, the time you spent on a page or screen, the website you visited before navigating to the Service, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about your activity on a page or screen,  the hours of access and duration of access, and whether you have opened our emails or clicked on the links in them.

  • Location data, including your general location data (e.g. IP address) and, with your permission, precise location data from your mobile device. Please note that for most mobile devices, you can manage or disable the use of location services for all apps in the settings menu of your mobile device.

Cookies and similar technologies. Part of the automatic collection described above is facilitated by the following technologies:

  • Cookies, Cookies are small text files that websites store on users' devices that allow web servers to record users' browsing activities and remember their submissions, preferences, and login status as they browse a site or application. The cookies used on our sites include both "session cookies" that are deleted at the end of a session, "persistent cookies" that stay longer, "first-party" cookies that we place, and "third-party" cookies that our business partners and third-party service providers place.

Data about other people. We may offer features that help you invite your friends or contacts to use the Service and, with your permission, we may collect information from your contact list to help you send invitations.

Provision of the Service. We may collect, retain, use and disclose your personal information to:

- Facilitate your invitations to friends you want to encourage to join the service.

  • Enable the security features of the Service, such as by sending you security codes via email or text message or remembering the devices from which you have previously logged in;

  • Communicate with you about the Service, including sending announcements, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages;

  • To understand your needs and interests, and to personalize your experience of the Service and our communications, including by finding and recommending products that may be of interest to you or features available where you are located;

  • Administer sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions and activities, and we may use your user profile picture and name information to identify you in connection with such promotions and activities;

How We Share Your Personal Data

Cookies and similar technologies. In addition to the other uses mentioned in this section, we may use Cookies and similar technologies We use the service described above for the following purposes:

  • Strictly necessary cookies. These cookies are strictly necessary for the proper functioning of our site and the provision of our services and features. These cookies also allow us to measure and analyse how our customers use the site, in order to optimise the operation of the website and improve your shopping experience.

  • Cookie Preference. These cookies will remember your preferences (e.g. your language or location) in order to provide you with a recommendation that is as personalised as possible based on your clear history.

  • Analytics and marketing cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies to promote our services on other platforms and websites, and to measure the effectiveness of our own marketing campaigns.      3. How we share your personal data

We do not sell your personal information for money and we only share your personal information with the following parties and as described in this Privacy & Cookie Policy or at the time of collection.

Service Providers. Third parties who provide services on our behalf or assist us in operating the Service or our business (such as hosting, information technology, customer support, email delivery, order fulfillment and delivery, marketing, consumer research, and website analytics).

Payment processors. All payment card information you use to make a purchase on the Service is collected and processed directly by our payment processors.

Advertising Partners. Third-party advertising company for the purposes of interest-based advertising described above.

Third parties you have designated. We may share your personal data with third parties where you have instructed us to do so or given your consent. For example, we may share your personal data with third-party advertisers with whom we collaborate to provide you with additional services such as sweepstakes, raffles, and promotions. We will only share personal information that is necessary for these other companies to provide the services you have requested.

Sales and marketing partners. Third parties with whom we jointly sponsor events or promotions, with whom we jointly offer products or services, or whose products or services may be of interest to you.

Related Third-Party Services. If you log into the Service with a social media or other third-party service, or if you link your account to the Service, we may share your personal information with that third-party service. Sellers, other users, and the public.

Professional advisors. Professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants, bankers and insurers, where necessary in connection with the professional services they provide to us.

We may share your personal information with sellers to facilitate your transactions on or through the Service. For example, when you purchase a product on or through the Service, we normally share your personal information necessary to fulfill the purchase, such as shipping address and phone number, with the seller (or its service providers).

Authorities and others. Law enforcement authorities, government authorities, and private parties, if we believe in good faith that it is necessary or appropriate for the purposes of compliance and protection described above.

We may also share your personal information with other users and vendors in order to facilitate your interactions with them on or through the Service. For example, information about a seller's store is usually made available to users.

Sellers, other users, and the public.

We may share your personal information with sellers to facilitate your transactions on or through the Service. For example, when you purchase a product on or through the Service, we normally share your personal information necessary to fulfill the purchase, such as shipping address and phone number, with the seller (or its service providers).

We may also share your personal information with other users and vendors in order to facilitate your interactions with them on or through the Service. For example, information about a seller's store is usually made available to users.

Your profile and other user-generated content (excluding messages) may be visible to other users of the Service and to the public. This includes your name, photo, location, reviews you have written (including any photo/video you upload with those reviews), and the list of people you follow or who follow you, as well as your username if you send messages, make comments, or upload images or videos through the Service. This information may be viewed, collected, and used by third parties, including cached, copied, screenshot, or stored elsewhere by third parties (e.g., search engines), and we are not responsible for the use that is made of this information. Use caution and good judgment before sharing personal information in public areas of the Service.

 

    4. Your Rights and Choices

Rights of the data subject. You have rights over the personal information we hold about you. Depending on your residence or location, these rights may include:

  • Promotional offers by email. the right to obtain information regarding the processing of your personal data and access to the personal data we hold about you;

  • Mobile promotional offers. the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time (please note, however, that we may still be allowed to process your personal data if we have a legitimate ground other than consent to do so);

  • Notifications. In certain circumstances, the right to receive certain personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and/or to request that we transmit such data to a third party where technically feasible (please note, however, that this right only applies to personal data that you have provided to us);

  • The right to ask us to rectify your personal data if it is inaccurate or incomplete;

  • The right to ask us to erase your personal data in certain circumstances (please note, however, that there may be times when you ask us to erase your personal data, where we are legally entitled to retain it);

Again, in certain circumstances, you may object to the processing of your personal data or ask us to restrict it, but we are legally entitled to continue processing your personal data or to refuse such a request; and

  • The right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority or with us in writing if you believe that we have breached any of our obligations or infringed your rights under applicable privacy legislation.

You can exercise your rights by contacting us using the contact details set out below in the "How to contact us" section. We will respond to complaints in writing within a reasonable time. We provide details regarding your applicable data protection authority upon request.

Access or update your information. If you have opened an account with us through the Service, you may review and update or delete certain information related to your account by logging into your account. Specifically, you can update your name, address, phone number, email address and password, payment methods, profile information, and purchase history in the "my account" section of the app.

Opting out of marketing communications. To manage your preferences or opt-out of marketing communications, you may use one of the following methods.

  • Promotional offers by email. If you do not wish to receive emails from us regarding promotions or special offers, you can follow the unsubscribe options at the end of each email.

  • Mobile promotional offers. When you provide us with your mobile phone number, we may send you certain SMS marketing alerts. Standard data and message rates apply. If you no longer wish to receive mobile marketing alerts from us, you can follow the instructions provided in those messages or reply STOP to any alert we send.

  • Notifications. When you use the mobile app, you can receive notifications. If you'd rather not receive notifications, you can adjust your settings on your mobile device to control whether you want to receive these alerts.

You will need to apply these opt-out settings on each device for which you want to opt out of interest-based advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies. Most browsers allow you to delete or reject cookies. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser settings. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. Please note that if you disable cookies in your browser, the service may not function properly. For more information about cookies, including how to see which cookies have been set on your browser and how to manage and delete them, visit www.allaboutcookies.org. You can also set your device to prevent images from loading and web beacons from working.

We cannot guarantee that the companies we work with will participate in the exclusion programs described above.

Mobile location data. You can disable our access to your device's precise geolocation in your mobile device's settings.

Advertising choices. You can limit the use of your information for interest-based advertising purposes:

  • Browser Settings. Block third-party cookies in your browser settings.

  • Browsers/plugins for privacy. Using privacy browsers or ad-blocking browser plug-ins that allow you to block tracking technologies.

  • Platform settings. Google and Facebook offer opt-out features that allow you to opt-out of the use of your information for interest-based advertising purposes:

Mobile settings. Using your mobile device settings to limit the use of the advertising ID associated with your mobile device for interest-based advertising purposes.

  • For iOS 14.5 or later: Go to your settings> Select Privacy> Select Tracking> Turn off the "Allow apps to request tracking" setting.

  • For Android devices with OS 2.2 or higher and Google Play Services version 4.0 or higher: Open the Google Settings app > Ads > Turn on "Opt out of interest-based advertising."

You will need to apply these opt-out settings on each device for which you want to opt out of interest-based advertising.

We cannot guarantee that the companies we work with will participate in the exclusion programs described above.

Retention

Do not follow. Some Internet browsers may be set to send "Do Not Track" signals to the online services you visit. At this time, we do not respond to "Do Not Track" or similar signals. To learn more about the "Do Not Track" feature, please visit http://www.allaboutdnt.com.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we may consider factors such as the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal information, the purposes for which we process your personal information, and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means,  as well as applicable legal requirements.

By refusing to provide information. We need to collect personal information to provide certain services. If you do not provide information that we consider necessary or mandatory, we may not be able to provide those services.

When we no longer need the personal information we have collected about you, we may either delete it or anonymize it. If this is not technically possible, we will isolate it from any further processing where we will "opt out" of the data in question.

Linked Third-Party Platforms. If you choose to log in to the Service through your social media account or another third-party platform, you may be able to use your account settings with that platform to limit the information we receive from it. If you deny us the ability to access information from a third-party platform, that choice will not apply to information we have already received from that third-party entity.

Delete your content or close your account. You may choose to remove certain content through your account. You can delete your account in the "settings" section of the app.

The Service may contain links to websites, mobile applications, and other online services operated by third parties.  In addition, our content may be embedded in web pages or other online services with which we are not associated.  These links and integrations do not constitute an endorsement or assertion that we are affiliated with any third party.  We do not control or are responsible for the websites, mobile applications, or online services operated by third parties. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of other websites, mobile applications, and online services that you use.

     7. Security

We use a number of technical, organizational, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect.  However, security risk is inherent in all Internet and information technologies and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.

 

     8. International Data Transfers

The personal information we collect from you may be transferred to, disclosed, stored and processed in or to locations outside of your country. These locations may include any location where JEEMA. When we transfer your personal data outside of your country, we will ensure that it is protected in a way that is consistent with how we protect your personal data in your country. This can be done in a number of ways, for example:

  • The country to which we send the data may be approved by the applicable data protection authority; or

  • An appropriate data transfer mechanism will be used (e.g. the recipient may have signed a contract based on "standard contractual clauses" approved by the Information Commissioner's Office or the European Commission, obliging them to protect your personal data).

In other circumstances, the law may allow us to transfer your personal data outside of your country. But in all cases, we will ensure that any transfer of your personal data complies with applicable privacy and data protection laws.      9. Children

The Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian of a child from whom you believe we have collected personal information in a way prohibited by law, please let us know. Contact us. If we discover that we have collected personal data through the Service from a child without the consent of their parent or guardian, as required by law, we will comply with applicable legal requirements to delete that information.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy & Cookie Policy at any time. If we make any material changes to this Policy, we will notify you by updating the date of this Policy and posting it on the Service or by other appropriate means.  Any changes to this Privacy & Cookie Policy will be effective at the time we post the amended version (or as indicated at the time of posting). In any event, your use of the Service after the effective date of any amended Privacy and Cookie Policy indicates your acceptance of such policy.
